John and Helen have headed this project to bring the woods back so our estate and the wider community can enjoy the peace and quite away from everyday life.
Walk-ways are being upgraded, a new pond, new seats, bins. Enjoy the photos as the site is developed to re-open in Spring 2025.

The Pond
Despite all the mud, volunteers from Greengym, with the help of waders dug out the pond to make it deeper and ready for a new underlay and liner.
Ingestre Woods Orchard
Ten Apple Trees, kindly donated by Thatchers the Cider makers, were planted on the sunniest part of the woods
There are five different varieties of apples which should be fit for picking in three years time.
